Brougham and Stevens named to GTA Board of Directors

Each will serve a three-year term.

The Green truck Association (GTA) recently announced the election of the following individuals to its Board of Directors: Shawn Brougham, director, Marketing and Product Engineering, Altec Industries (St. Joseph, MO) and Rob Stevens, chief nameplate engineer, Commercial Truck Programs, Ford Commercial Truck (Dearborn, MI). Each will serve a three-year term.

The GTA is an affiliate division of the NTEA - the Association for the Work Truck Industry. Its mission is to improve the efficiency and productivity of work trucks through the development and deployment of strategies to reduce diesel and gasoline consumption and the associated environmental impacts.

The goal of the GTA is to continue the progression of green work trucks through:

  • showcasing green trucks and technology developments
  • serving as the resource for legislative,r egulatory and funding intiaitves relevant to tgreen truck development
  • supplying market data and technical resources relevant to green truck development
  • sharing timely news on green truck products and initiatives
