Equipment and Tool Institute announces 2020-2021 Officers and Directors

June 2, 2020
Robert Vogt of IOSiX has been elected board president for the 2020-2021 term.

The Equipment and Tool Institute welcomed new officers and board members on their election to office for 2020-2021.

“Congratulations to the newly elected ETI Board of Directors and a sincere thank you for the many significant contributions of our outgoing member, Jim Fish. The new ETI Board begins its 2020-2021 term as the world emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic. It is too soon to tell the impact on the world, the global economy, and the overall automotive industry, but it is likely that we will see challenges and opportunities that did not exist prior to this event. The ETI membership is very fortunate to have the leadership and industry experience that comprise the new board,” said Brian Plott, executive director, ETI. “Having known and worked with most of the new board members, I am confident that they will help us navigate what lies ahead in the coming year. Congratulations and best wishes for a successful year.”

“As we look forward to the coming year, ETI and the rest of the world will be faced with some tremendous challenges. We must work hard to rise to the simultaneous challenges of meeting our members’ needs, preserving and strengthening our OEM relationships, and moving towards a higher level of technical capability to match the increase in vehicle security processes industry wide,” said Robert Vogt, board president, ETI. “I expect ETI will emerge from this coming year a stronger and more capable organization, led by our diligent and hardworking staff. Onward and upward.”
