The fundraising event will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023, during the Women in Auto Care Leadership Conference in Palm Springs, Calif.

Women in Auto Care is hosting a live auction for this year's fundraising event on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023, during its Women in Auto Care Leadership Conference. Last year, the fundraiser raised over $30,000 -- providing scholarships for young women seeking careers in the auto industry.

Currently, they are looking for help with donations for their fundraiser. Prizes should range from $150-500 each, and options for donations include:

  • Travel packages
  • Gift cards (examples: Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, Amazon)
  • Designer brand donations (examples: Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Dooney & Burke, Michael Kors, etc.)
  • Designer handbags, wallets, clutches, accessories
  • Jewelry/watches
  • Electronics
  • Online classes or experiences (examples: professional resume review, one-on-one coaching sessions, virtual cocktail class, online painting class, etc.)
  • Niche automotive-related items
  • Race experiences
  • Gift subscriptions

Women in Auto Care is also willing to collect money/gift card donations that will be used to purchase creative prizes. When requesting donations, they recommend referring to the event as the "Women in Auto Care Auction." The deadline for donations is Friday, Jan. 27, 2023. Donations should be sent to:
