Power Probe bike featured on Orange County Choppers

Sept. 6, 2011
See the American Chopper team work on the Power Probe bike during the re-airing of the episode "Return of the Black Widow," scheduled for Monday, Sept. 12.

Power Probe teamed up with Orange County Choppers (OCC) to create a one-of-a-kind bike that truly represents our company. Power Probe has been known for its innovative diagnostic tools for many years. The cornerstone is the Power Probe III, a diagnostic tester that has transformed diagnosing bad circuits from a tedious job to a fast and easy one.

Orange County Choppers first got involved with the  company when Power Probe employees who had been watching the show for many years noticed that techs on the show were using (unsolicted) Power Probe products for their wiring jobs.

Power Probe then contacted OCC about creating an exclusive bike. Bill DeFer (VP of Sales & Marketing)  and David Sparks (Graphics Manager) met with the creative crew of OCC and went over the details, and provided some insight and guidance. Paul Teutel Sr., founder of Orange County Choppers, sat down with Jason Pohl and listened to what the company wanted to represent with their Chopper.

The bike was delivered by the very team that had built her: Jason Pohl, Rick Petko and Christian Welter. A video of the bike reveal is available on the VehicleServicePros.com website here

Be sure to check us and the Chopper at the SEMA show in Vegas and other shows in the near future. Fans of the show and Power Probe can also get a sneak peek of the bike on the Discovery Channel show, American Chopper, in the episode "Return of the Black Widow." Viewers can watch a re-run of the episode on Monday, Sept. 12 at 8 PM EST. Check local listings for other dates and times.
