ACOFAS and Electronic Specialties to conduct electrical diagnostics technician education clinic

The 1-1/2 day clinic and educational program on understanding electricty will be held Nov. 4-5 in Raleigh-Durham, N.C.

Computer technology on trucks and trailers require the knowledge and skill to diagnose and repair, opens, shorts and voltage drops in wiring, sensors and ECUs.  Too often costly electrical components are replaced because of the lack of technician electrical diagnostics knowledge.

American Council of Frame & Alignment Specialists (ACOFAS) and Daniel Sullivan of Sullivan Training Systems, (Sponsored by Electronic Specialties, Inc.) will conduct a 1-1/2-day clinic and educational program on understanding electricity, Nov. 4-5 in Raleigh-Durham, N.C.  Advanced DVOM Reading (Digital Volt-Ohm Meters), Schematic Reading, and Volt meter only Diagnostics.

Dan Is known as one of the top experts in Vehicle Electrical Diagnostics, has published “Fundamental Electric Trouble Shooting” shop book and has conducted many training clinics across North America and abroad.  Electronic Specialties is the manufacturer of the LOADpro Dynamic Test lead.  The LOADpro identifies high resistance faults and is compatible with all digital multimeters.

ACOFAS conducts Technician Education Clinics twice annually.  Each program is located in different locations and focuses on different topics.  Some of the previous topics include: Total Chassis Alignment Procedures, Chassis Frame Diagnostics & Analysis, Frame Straightening, Wheel end Vibration, Chassis Driveline Vibration, Air Brake Diagnostics, ABS Technology & Diagnostics, OSHA Shop Safety Criteria, Department of Labor Regulations,  CSA Regulations and Inspection Procedures , and many more.

This program will commence at 8 A.M. Tuesday Nov. 4. at the Carlson’s Country Inn & Suites,  201 Airgate Drive, Morrisville, N.C. 27560.  The hotel is located 1-1/2 mile front the Raleigh-Durham Airport and does provide and airport shuttle.  Each attendee will receive a copy of Dan’s work shop book “Fundamental Electric Trouble Shooting” and a LOADpro Test lead to take home.
