The service program, at more than 50 Speedco locations nationwide, includes free battery testing and the additions of Interstate Batteries to the service center's product offering.

Bridgestone Americas announced the nationwide launch of battery services at Speedco, a provider of on-highway preventive maintenance (PM) and tire service for the commercial trucking industry. The all-inclusive battery service program at all Speedco locations includes free battery testing and the addition of Interstate Batteries to the service center’s product offering.

“Speedco is working to defeat downtime by providing owner-operators and fleets the essential products and solutions their trucks need matched with the best customer service possible,” said Chris Ripani, president, Speedco. “Batteries are an important part of that equation. Our free battery testing and the addition of battery replacement to our service offering will continue to make Speedco a convenient and trusted provider in the trucking industry.”

All Speedco locations will now offer Interstate Group 31 Commercial Truck batteries. Designed to maximize mileage with little maintenance, Interstate Batteries meet or exceed original equipment (OE) specifications. Battery features include:

  • Maintenance-free design to endure the tough demands of the road.
  • High cycling technology to maximize performance and battery life.
  • Vibration protection to protect against extreme heat and vibration.
  • Suitcase handle for easy installation.
  • Single-port vent system for minimal water loss.

Speedco serves fleets and owner-operators at more than 50 locations across the United States, with plans to expand its footprint to bring full-service solutions to truckers in more high-traffic areas.
