TRIB elects new President at annual board meeting

Beginning January 1, 2013 Brian Hayes will begin his two-year term as TRIB's President.

At its annual Board of Directors Meeting held on October 29, The Tire Retread and Repair Information Bureau (TRIB) elected Brian Hayes, Vice President of Manufacturing for Purcell Tire & Rubber Company, as its new President. Beginning January 1, 2013 Brian Hayes will begin his two-year term as TRIB's President.

Brian has spent his entire professional career with Purcell Tire & Rubber Company joining them in 1988. In 1996 he was promoted to Manager of the Fenton Retread Plant in St. Louis, Missouri and then Manager of the Retread Plant in Potosi, Missouri. He was promoted to his current role as Vice President of Manufacturing in 2004 and has responsibility for five Commercial Plants and one OTR Plant.

Outgoing TRIB President Bob Majewski said, "Brian is a respected leader in the retread industry. His wealth of experience will continue to benefit our Board of Directors, our Association and the industry as a whole.
