Nexiq announces Allison Transmission suite upgrade on Pro-Link iQ handheld diagnostic platform

Enhanced Allision Transmission application suite forthcoming.

NEXIQ Technologies is pleased to announce the forthcoming release of the enhanced Allison Transmission Suite. The application operates on the Pro-Link iQ diagnostic scan tool for heavy-duty vehicles. The Allison Transmission Suite will now provide diagnostic coverage for Allison GEN IV (1K /2K and 3K/ 4K) transmissions. Technicians will have new access to GEN IV parameters, and have the ability to complete an array of special tests for GEN IV transmissions. The new release will be available in February of 2013.

  • GEN IV (1K / 2K and 3K / 4K)
  • Allison 1K / 2K
  • Allison World Transmission Electronic Control (WTEC) systems (3K / 4K)
  • Allison Commercial Electronic Control (CEC 1) systems (both on highway and off highway)

  • Gear Command Test
  • Solenoid Test
  • Trans Fault Enable Test
  • Display I/O wire assignments and functions (enabled/disabled)
  •  View shift inhibits
