BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY has integrated its Mobil Manager Pro with Carfax QuickVIN.

BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY, one of the leaders in shop management technology for the automotive repair industry, has integrated its Mobile Manager Pro with Carfax QuickVIN. Users now can quickly retrieve the year/make/model and engine information of their customers’ vehicles simply by entering the license plate information. In addition, BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY has joined the Carfax Service Network, making it easy for repair shops to also join the network and take advantage of the Carfax QuickVIN feature.

The Carfax QuickVIN license decoding feature is one of shop owner Jose Gomez’s favorite parts of Mobile Manager Pro.

“We probably service 500 cars every month and that function alone easily saves us two hours of labor per week,” said Gomez, owner of Elsy Auto Repair in Newark, N.J. “The labor savings is real dollars that positively impacts our bottom line and customer service. It’s made our lives a lot easier and our business even better.”

Carfax QuickVIN helps shops eliminate the risk of costly data entry errors and ensure properly-fitting parts are ordered. This feature is available to all Mobile Manager Pro users that are Carfax Service Network members.

“We’re constantly working to make sure our products exceed the needs of our customers,” said Michael Risich, owner and CTO of BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY. “Now we’ve teamed with one of the premier names in the auto industry. Having Carfax power the license decoding function of Mobile Manager Pro adds another level of trust and confidence to the application. We fully expect this enhancement will help our customers significantly improve their business.”

More than 32,000 automotive service and repair locations, as well as software providers like BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY, are Carfax Service Network members. As an added benefit, Carfax Service Network members are automatically enrolled in the Carfax Service Loyalty Program. Participating shops are featured in the myCarfax app when car owners are looking for local places to have their vehicle serviced or repaired.
