Some customers may comment that a steering wheel shudder/vibration can be felt when traveling at highway speeds and hitting an irregular road surface such as a transition from road to a bridge or a small pothole. The condition may be caused by a loss of fluid from the hydraulic mount on the rear position of the front lower control arm.

Inspect the rear bushings on the front lower control arms for looseness or dark streaks on the bottoms, signifying fluid loss. If fluid loss is found, replace both lower control arm rear bushings and test drive to verify the fix.
