Some owners of 2020-2021 GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD vehicles may comment about a false traction control or stability event during slow speed sharp turns and hearing a buzzing noise, mostly on tight turns going downhill like a steep driveway exiting onto a roadway. The customer may see an indicator flash on the instrument panel.

The cause of the condition may be a software anomaly causing a stability control event or traction control event to activate.

Reprogram the EBCM with the latest software. Do not download or install files using a wireless connection. Be sure that the computer is connected to the internet through a network cable.

If there is an interruption during programming, programming failure or control module damage may occur.
