Some 2020-2021 Lincoln Corsair vehicles may exhibit an illuminated stability-traction control indicator lamp. DTC C1B00:62 may be stored in the power steering control module (PSCM) and DTC C0051:67 may be stored in the ABS module.

Some 2020-2021 Lincoln Corsair vehicles may exhibit an illuminated stability-traction control indicator lamp. DTC C1B00:62 may be stored in the power steering control module (PSCM) and DTC C0051:67 may be stored in the ABS module.

This may be due to a misalignment between the steering column shaft and the steering wheel.

Inspect the right and left tie rods for similar thread lengths. If lengths are not similar, remove the driver airbag and steering wheel bolt in order to see the alignment marks. If the marks are misaligned, remove the steering wheel. Align the clockspring tabs with the steering column shaft alignment mark.

Align the steering wheel with the clockspring tabs and make sure that the steering wheel and steering column alignment marks are aligned. Reinstall the steering wheel and airbag. Perform a front-toe adjustment and clear DTCs.

Test drive the vehicle to calibrate the system. Drive straight to find the center. Turn the steering wheel through the full range of motion lock-to-lock. Drive the vehicle straight for 30 seconds at speeds over 30 mph. Confirm that the stability-traction control lamp is not illuminated. Cycle the ignition on/off to complete.
