This bulletin applies to 2020 Jaguar F-Pace, I-Pace, XE and XF vehicles. When the EPB (emergency park brake) is applied, the DSC (dynamic stability control) and brake warning lights may be on.

The “autonomous emergency braking is not available” message may be displayed. The cause is a software error. This fault will occur if the transmission is placed in neutral and the ignition is off for a period of 15 minutes or longer.

This means that if the driver is making a series of short “neutral IGN off stops” without the vehicle going to sleep in between when the stop time adds up to 15 minutes, the fault will occur.

To clear the fault, the vehicle needs to go to a sleep cycle as follows:

· IGN on.

· Put the transmission into Park.

· IGN off.

· Exit the vehicle and lock it.

· Wait 15 minutes before re-entering the vehicle.
