    This bulletin applies to 2019-2020 Volkswagen Jetta GLI and Golf GTI vehicles. Under certain conditions, the engine may stall at very low speeds or when the vehicle is already stopped with the engine running.

    This bulletin applies to 2019-2020 Volkswagen Jetta GLI and Golf GTI vehicles. Under certain conditions, the engine may stall at very low speeds or when the vehicle is already stopped with the engine running.

    The ECM software update will address the potential issue and reportedly improves drivability. Update the J623 engine/motor control module using the SVM unit code438F and new software version 0005 or higher. New software is P/N 5G0 906 259 Q.
