More Info on National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF)
NASTF.org is your one-stop source for OE repair and tooling information. Whether you are a repairer, automaker, educator, toolmaker, or information provider, your account will allow you to customize the information you receive to best meet your needs. By creating a free account, you will be able to access NASTF’s library of service information links, submit SIRs, dialogue with other members, and receive up-to-the-minute updates from OEMs.
NASTF also hosts the Vehicle Security Professional (VSP) program. A VSP account allows locksmiths and other vetted professionals to securely access key, immobilizer, and PIN codes through the Secure Data Release Model (SDRM). Please note, there is a charge to be credentialed by the VSP registry and it is not included in the free NASTF account. The VSP program is only available to users in the United States and Canada.
During the week of April 5 the National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) will be launching the new Assisted Immobilizer Reprogramming (AIR) service.
The new application is designed to streamline Vehicle Security Credential applications and renewals from the current 10 to 20 days down to seven to 10 days.
Tesla’s automaker page on the NASTF website will be updated with the latest information, including instructions for setting up the Tesla diagnostic tool.
