Bosch Adds 8 New Part Numbers To Its Line of OE Throttle Body Assemblies
Robert Bosch LLC aftermarket division has announced the addition of eight new part numbers to its line of OE (original equipment) throttle body assemblies. An essential part of the air intake system in a modern gasoline engine, the throttle body assembly – in combination with the electronic throttle control system – regulates the amount of fresh air entering the engine.
“Every repair shop that services late model domestic vehicles can benefit from these new generation throttle body assemblies,” said Timo Reif, Vice President, Product Marketing, North America, Automotive Aftermarket Division, Robert Bosch LLC. “Manufactured in the United States and on our OE production lines, these new DVE-G1 generation throttle body assemblies provide technicians with the best quality part to do a job right the first time around.”
This generation of throttle body assembly contains an actuator, a throttle plate and a throttle position sensor, which are integrated into one housing.
The new Bosch Throttle Body Assembly part numbers fit a range of late model domestic vehicles from 2007 to 2012. These include Pontiac, Chevrolet, Buick, Hummer, GMC and Cadillac applications.
