Federated member Vaca Valley Auto Parts in Fairfield, Calif., likes its customers so much that it gave them two chances to win in its “Spring into Green” contest. Customers Josh Branco of Branco’s Lube n Tune in Dixon, Calif. and Mark Elcsisin of Cecil’s Hi-Tech in Vacaville, Calif. each won a trip for two to the recent AAPEX and SEMA shows as grand prize winners of the second chance raffle.

“We want to thank all our customers who participated in our ‘Spring into Green’ contest,” said Trevor Martin, vice president and general manager of Vaca Valley. “Our second chance raffles have become very popular with our customers and we want to congratulate Josh and Mark as the two grand prize winners of a trip for two to Industry Week in Las Vegas.”

Vaca Valley’s “Spring into Green” promotion was held in April and May 2013. Customers who made a purchase of $100 or more from Vaca Valley received a scratch off ticket. If the ticket was not a winner, they became eligible for a second chance drawing that featured exciting prizes such as the Las Vegas trips, iPads, tickets to the Federated hospitality tent at Sonoma Raceway for the NASCAR Pro Series West race, and a catered barbeque cooked by Vaca Valley’s own Jack and Trevor Martin.

In addition, a “Manufacturers Bonus Week” was held as part of the promotion. Customers who purchased $100 or more from select manufacturers received an additional scratch off card and another entry in the second chance drawing.

“Josh and Mark had a great time in Las Vegas,” continued Martin. “In addition to AAPEX and SEMA, they attended the Federated tailgate party and met the hosts of Truck U, Matt Steele and Bruno Massel. We put together a treasure hunt for Josh and Mark to have some extra fun while attending the show, and they were able to earn some products from our vendor partners who supported the promotion.”
