Continental presents Northwood University with Female Leadership Scholarship
Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket, a leading aftermarket supplier of OE-engineered automotive replacement parts, has presented a scholarship to Northwood University for its leadership program.
The scholarship award, which was originally established by the company in 2004, makes it possible for a Northwood University female student to participate in the annual legislative summit. The award was presented to executives of the Car Care Council Women's Board and the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) during the 2013 AAPEX Show.
AnnaMaria Blose, Marketing Communications Director, Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket-NAFTA, noted, “We are delighted to be part of such a worthy cause and proudly continue to support the scholarship program at Northwood with the help of the Women’s Board. The University of the Aftermarket is a very valuable asset in our industry, and the Women’s Board makes it possible for young women, who are interested in becoming part of the automotive aftermarket business, to learn about all the career choices available to them.”
Northwood University is a private institution specializing in management and entrepreneurial education. A key branch of Northwood is the University of the Aftermarket, which specializes in providing high quality, continuing education programming to the Automotive Aftermarket.
