Standard Motor Products releases 67 new parts for Intermotor import line

Standard Motor Products Inc. (SMP) announces the addition of 67 new part numbers to its Intermotor Import line. The release expands coverage through the 2015 model year covering more than 16 million additional vehicles in operation.

Standard Motor Products Inc. (SMP) announces the addition of 67 new part numbers to its Intermotor® Import line. The release expands coverage through the 2015 model year covering more than 16 million additional vehicles in operation.

The highlight is the addition of 12 new turbocharger SKUs, including both new and remanufactured units for gasoline applications. Other notable additions include 3 diesel fuel injectors, 4 power door lock actuators, and 11 fuel vapor canisters with coverage for 3 million VIO.

The company also introduced 23 SKUs to its switch category, increasing coverage by 5 million VIO. Examples include four-wheel-drive selector, ignition, heated seat, power door lock, and power window switches.
