Centric Parts has been awarded Best Print or Electronic Catalog of a Product Line for Import Cars or Trucks by the Auto International Association (AIA) for its Centric Parts 2015 Sistemas de Frenos Mexico (Brake Systems Mexico) Catalog.
The award was presented by AIA Executive Leadership Council Member Martin Gold and AIA Chairman Ira Davis during the opening day of the industry’s annual Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas.
In announcing the winner of the award, Gold pointed out the unique nature of this catalog, “This catalog is for the Mexican domestic market, and it is the national models – it’s things we don’t see all the time here – but a very great catalog that was highly, highly rated by everybody in our group… We brought in special judges -- Spanish-speaking people that would understand all the different books to grade it properly -- and they gave it the absolute highest scores.”
“We are honored that this unique catalog was recognized by the Auto Care Association,” said Griffin. “It specifically addresses an important foreign export market with the same attention to detail that we apply to all of our catalogs, covering our entire range of applications and products for Mexico National models.”
The recently released catalog, updated and expanded over the previous edition, contains hundreds of new part numbers, new product categories, new makes and new models, making it one of the most comprehensive domestic market brake catalogs available to customers in Mexico.
The up-to-the-minute catalog contains over 1,700 part numbers, with detailed listings for the complete range of Centric brake rotors, drums, pads, shoes, calipers, lines, sensors, hardware kits and hydraulics, as well as hubs, bearings and seals and clutch hydraulics. The catalog also includes illustrations for nearly every component. The 2015 edition of the Centric Mexico Catalog is 30% larger than the catalog it replaces, and includes listings for five new makes and 35 new Mexico market models.
