ContiTech NAFTA reports it has introduced to the aftermarket 328 new Continental brand part numbers. Included are poly-V belts, timing belts, timing belt kits, hoses and tensioners.
With the fourth-quarter 2015 additions, the company now offers 481 new Continental part numbers for 2016.
“We believe that this expanded offering of new part numbers gives warehouse distributors and professional repair technicians extensive application coverage,” says Tom Lee, Continental’s marketing manager for North American automotive aftermarket products. “Our comprehensive portfolio provides the market with import and domestic solutions for many early and late model vehicles.”
With the addition of 269 new timing belt kits announced late last year at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas, the newest offerings of parts numbers provide extensive coverage for some of Continental’s most popular products including belts, hose and tensioners.
“As older vehicles accumulate miles, belt and hose replacement will increase,” says Lee. “We are committed to providing the automotive aftermarket with the right parts at the right time for both older and new model vehicles.”
