The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is excited to announce the addition of special demonstrations and information of TIA's popular training programs to TIA's booth (#40057) at the 2012 Global Tire Expo - Powered by TIA at the SEMA show. This year's booth will afford attendees the unique opportunity to get a special preview of newly inaugurated programs, including TIA Online University, the newly-created Commercial Tire Service (CTS) Spanish Program, and the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Relearn Chart.
As the industry leader in tire technician training and certification, TIA now offers all of its Basic Level Training Series in a convenient and accessible format on the TIA Online University. Technicians can access the most comprehensive, up-to-date tire service training anywhere there is an Internet connection. TIA's Basic Level training is designed for new hires as part of their orientation, and it can also be used for experienced technicians in need of documented training. Shop managers and company administrators also have the convenience of adding and maintaining their employees to the system and running real-time reports on technician progress and test results.
The Spanish translation of the popular CTS program is at the TIA booth. The Spanish CTS program is designed for the 300-Level Certified Technician series for experienced employees and the 200-Level Basic program for new hires and employees in need of training mandated by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Regulation 29 CFR 1901.177.
The TPMS Relearn Chart covers multiple aspects of TPMS service, including when the relearn procedure is necessary. It includes the OEM sensor part number, the sensor part and service pack numbers for Schrader, Dill, Myers Tire Supply, 31 Inc. Xtra-Seal, and NAPA. It also includes the sensor numbers for Orange Electronics and Oro-Tek. The chart provides a comprehensive list of relearn summaries for all makes and models, both foreign and domestic.
The 2012 Global Tire Expo - Powered by TIA officially begins on Tuesday, October 30th in the Las Vegas Convention Center. TIA's booth will be located in the South Hall at #40057.
